Das Greenlight-Kuriositätenkabinett

Ziemlich ambitioniertes Projekt, war ursprünglich mal eine UT'04-Mod, dann UT3-Mod, die sich mittlerweile zu einem vollwertigen MP-Spiel (aber angeblich auch mit vollem Bot-Support) gemausert hat. Fließender Wechsel zwischen Kämpfen im Weltraum, Indoor mit Infantrie und am Boden mit Fahrzeugen soll dabei möglich sein:

Fully operational capital spacecraft with full playable interiors can be boarded in order to capture them, or to destroy them from the inside.

Games encompass both fleet and infantry combat - work together to assault spacestations, shipyards and vessels in realtime.

Dogfight in a space interceptor

Command a ground assault from the tacmap

Assume point to clear a building

Hunt with a frigate wolfpack as a lineship captain.

Order Open Fire All Weapons on your battleship bridge

Tiny Robot Justice Squad is a 2D action platformer/arena shooter for Windows, Mac OSX and Linux platforms. It has explosions, big guns, big bosses and quick-paced platform gameplay. The game is being developed by Mind Relay (which is actually just one person!), with all proceeds generated by the game to be donated to the charity GamesAid which helps disabled and disadvantaged young people.

BTW: Viele Devs scheinen nicht des Lesens mächtig zu sein. So scheitern deren Projekte schon dadurch an Greenlight, dass sie nicht einmal die Minimalstanforderungen auf der Vorstellungsseite (sprich: mind. 4 Screenshots und 1 Video) erfüllen.

Flamingo is an online Mexican standoff game between two opposing players and their teams of gun toting animal-banditos. The game starts in the standoff where players position and orient their banditos one at a time, in double blind turns. During the standoff players are trying to unravel the impending shootout while identifying strategic linchpins and outsmarting their opponent.

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter und The Talos Principle scheinen da wohl eine neue Welle an hochwertigen First-Person-Puzzlegames losgetreten zu haben:

Sieht schon ziemlich lecker aus. Hoffentlich können die Devs das auch noch mit gescheitem Spielinhalt füllen.

Eine Greenlight-Kuriosität:

What is it?
The new game from Silent Hill: Shattered Memories writer and designer Sam Barlow. A crime fiction game with non-linear storytelling, Her Story revolves around a police database full of live action video footage. It stars Viva Seifert, actress and one half of the band Joe Gideon and the Shark.

So how does it work?
Her Story grants players access to a police database of archived video footage that covers seven interviews from 1994 in which a British woman is interviewed by detectives about her missing husband. Players take on the role of the person sat before a police computer terminal, their own computer playing the part of the fictional one. They type search queries and the database returns clips of the answers where the woman speaks those words.

Quasi ein Platformer mit einem indirekten Multiplayer-Versus-Mode:

Ultimate Chicken Horse is the ultimate challenge in platform gaming. You have to masterfully build each game level to stump your foes and ensure your path to success. You and your friends take turns placing items from our huge inventory of blocks, projectiles, traps and contraptions before running through the level. If you can make it to the finish but your friends can’t, you get a point! The cycle repeats as you add and modify the level before trying to run through it again.
